Embarrassing

This team will go 6-6. No way they beat Purdue or Wisconsin on the road, and they may not get past MSU.

I am now convinced that Morelli is not the man to lead this team. Unless the playcalling is that bad, there is no way you check down to a 4 yard pattern on 3rd and 10. This happens over and over again. How long do you stay with this experiment before you chalk it up as a failure??

The O-line should sit all its starters and play the 2nd string. Levi Brown, Robert Price and especially Jim Shaw are playing well below acceptable. How do you not even get close to 100 yards against this defense?? I am disgusted. Thoroughly embarrassed to be a Penn State fan today.

If you wear a blue and white jersey today, you should be very upset with what happened today. How do you show well against OSU and Michigan and get 180 yards against Illinois????? What the hell is up with this. This is the worst I've felt after a win ever.

I am sick. Galen, get it together...Joe, get angry...

Disappointing Loss

You know, I said at the beginning of the year, that I thought the Nits would be 9-3 with losses to OSU, ND, and Michigan. So far, that's played out, though I am less than confident about the 9 win part.

I really want to believe that Morelli is the man for the job, and that this is just a season of growing pains. But I don't know. I've not seen the maturation. I've not seen the game-winning drive. I still don't know where the crossing routes are...why they only throw to the outside...etc.

What happened to the O-line? There was nothing good there. How does an O-lineman not touch anyone, and give up a sack?? Price routinely looked like he wasn't sure what game he was playing.

Justin King is the most overrated defender on the team. He can't tackle, celebrates an incompletion (that was only incomplete because the guy dropped it)...seems like a case where his reputation preceeded him.

How can a 17-10 game be not as close as the score indicated? Scoring with 3:00 left, and getting the ball back for a game-tying drive would qualify as a close game in most folks' books.

Penn State must win vs Illinois by 7 touchdowns...

Good road win for the Nits. Morelli looked good, Hunt looked great. Where was the D on the last drive in regulation and the overtime TD?
